 Report of the 6th 'Dhvani' for the academic year 2022 - 2025.

      On Thursday, July 13, 2023, the sixth chapter of Dhvani, which explores the imagination, romanticism and creativity of student teachers of this era, was organized by the Physical Science department. Along with this Rev. Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul’s Feast was also celebrated. The teachers, non-teachers and the honorable principal are gratefully remembered for making Dhvani a success despite being busy with the university model examination and the different artistic programs that captivated the hearts of the students.The program started at 11.30 am with the Mass conducted by Jinto Chundal. Dhvani started with Ranga Pooja with graceful steps by former students.After that presented a video in Sr.Dr.Gigi paul’s honor greeting sister on her feast.Distinguished persons Fr. Jinto Chundal, Sr.Dr Gigi Paul and Fr Fijo Allapat arrived on the stage, they were welcomed by Nayana Joy of Physical science department.After Fr. Fijo Allapat wished Sr.Dr.Gigi Paul on the auspiciousness of her feast .After giving sweets and sharing happiness, Sister and dignitaries joined the audience.The art program started with a prayer with a still-life scene from the Department of Natural Science. After that, there was a musical play to convey the Sister's Feast wishes of the mathematics department, and the English department came next with applause by combining different songs. The Malayalam department came later wishing Sr on her feast through parady songs and making the audience laugh.Next was the fusion dance of the First-year students.Later on, a drama called 'Nerkarcha' was performed on the stage based on a socially important issue in our little Kerala by Physical science students. The curtain fell off for students programs with the group song of the social science department with a very melodious rhythm.Then there was the group song of the teachers that everyone was waiting for. The presentation of the teachers moved the audience by energetically taking steps and holding the audience in their hands. Making this celebration memorable, Sister also shared the joy with the teachers by singing and beating the beat.Anlin Mary Sister of Malayalam Department delivered vote of thanks.After that Rev. Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul entered the stage to express her gratitude and share happiness of the dayThe curtain fell off with the National Anthem for 6 th dhvani.

OLACHOOT Report on olachoot  The play olachoot was  staged on 21 November 2023 as a part of Union day inauguration. Script and direction was done by fr. Fijo Joseph allapadan. The story of the play was about an old man, named krishnankutti mash where he decides to go to an old age home thinking that he will be a problem for his children.When he told his children about his wish, they refused. The play is about the love between father and son. On the other hand, it shows parents abandoned by their children. At the end of the drama,krishnankutti mash and his children went to old age home to celebrate his birthday.All members were performed well in the play. The play shows the contemporary issues in our society. It was a heart touching play. Light, and stage arrangements provided a emotional feeling to the audience. It was a great play by the student teachers.

                                     Longinus     The play Longinus was staged on March 27,2024. It was organized by Jesus Youth. The script and direction was done by Fr.Fijo Joseph Allapadan.The plays narrative was about a Roman soldier named Longinus who stabbed the crucified christ in the side with a Lance to check whether he was dead.Some of Jesus blood fell upon his eyes and he was healed. Upon this miracle Longinus believed in Jesus.The student teachers play lasted about thirty minutes. The drama was well acted by each individual, and it was a visual delight for everyone .

                          Snapaka Yohannan       The Play Snapaka Yohannan was staged on 24/01/2024 as a part of Patrons Day.Script and direction done by Fr.Fijo Joseph.The story tells us Baptist John known for baptizing Jesus Christ in the Jordan River and for his role as a prophet preparing the way for the Messiah.John lived a simple life in the wilderness, preaching repentance and baptizing people as a symbol of cleansing from sin. He famously declared, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near".John's ministry drew large crowds, including Pharisees and Sadducees, whom he criticized for their hypocrisy. He recognized Jesus as the Messiah and baptized him, after which he witnessed the Holy Spirit descending upon Jesus like a dove.His purpose was in preparing the way for Jesus Christ.It was near a 10 minutes play done by our Student Teachers under the lead of Fr.Fijo Joseph and it went well.
